On The Mark: Civic Hotel People To Innovation

Civic Hotel signage stands higher than any other signage in the Greater Vancouver region.

Civic Hotel’s iconic diamond has been set alight atop the 52-storey hotel and residential tower, a beacon that signals the beginnings of an exciting new generation of urban growth and technological innovation in Surrey City Centre. At 164m (538 feet), the building is the tallest in Surrey (and the third tallest in Greater Vancouver). It sits across Civic Plaza from the new City Hall and the Bing Thom-designed public library.

Civic Hotel provides the luxury, centrally located meeting and event space needed to connect entrepreneurs, researchers, academics and business professionals based out of nearby universities, labs, health facilities and offices.

Offering more than 8,000 square feet of modern, flexible gathering spaces, the 144-room Marriott Autograph Collection hotel will play an important role in facilitating the innovation and growth taking place throughout City Centre’s vital, growing downtown, university district, financial sector and health-tech hub.

Currently in the late stages of staff training, refining hotel processes, and finalizing back-end support for Marriott Rewards, Civic Hotel will formally open its doors to guests in early 2018.
