Design
Civic Hotel paved the way for Surrey’s emerging skyline, as it is one of the city’s tallest skyscrapers. Inspired by the beauty of British Columbia, the hotel’s interior features warm earth tones and a signature diamond pattern symbolizing connectivity, innovation, and permanence. The “V” in Civic reflects the social connection and sense of community at the heart of the hotel experience.
Celebrating BC
At Civic Hotel, we celebrate British Columbia and its connections. Each floor represents a different region, and every guest room highlights a place within that area. This storytelling comes to life through the work of renowned Canadian landscape photographer Rick Blacklaws and artist Garry Kennedy, whose art reflects BC’s landscapes, climate, wildlife, and people.
